Spice Mart Organic Fennel Seeds are fine quality dried, light brown seeds. They have a sweet, aromatic flavour and pleasing fragrance, and are mostly used as a natural sweetner. Fennel seeds, also called Saunf in India, can be boiled or steeped in hot water before adding tea leaves for a refreshing saunf chai. They are also added to sabjis, curries, breads, sauces, and herbal drinks. The seeds add body, sweetness and texture and are also known to improve digestion. These can be lightly toasted before use alone or with other herbs. They are also eaten plain as a mouth-freshner.
Sealed product is handled on premises that processes milk, nuts (including peanuts), seeds (including sesame seeds & mustard seeds), cereals, celery, soya & gluten.
