Ground Spices
Ground spices are whole spices in fine or coarse powder. Whole spices and ground spices are both useful in the kitchen as they have different properties. The dried spices are torn apart when ground, releasing their volatile oils, compounds that define a particular spice’s flavour, usually locked inside a whole spice. Our Ground Spices are made by pounding high quality whole spices, and include Pepper, Cumin, Coriander, Methi, Turmeric, Chilly powder, Ginger, and Cardamom. Not only do ground spices release their natural oils and flavour more rapidly, they are also very convenient to store and use. Mixing is also not a problem as they come in a finely powdered form.
No need to toast before grinding, powders can be added directly to recipes or gently cooked in oil. Their fine texture also makes them ideal when you want consistent seasoning throughout a recipe. As our powders are made from premium whole spices, these add the desired finish and flavour to biryanis, curries, soups, stews, marinades and everyday cooking. Their ready-to-use form reduces the hassle of grinding, saving time and effort.
