This salt has a clean, mineral taste and is highly valued in Ayurveda, an Indian alternative medicine system. It can be used in everyday cooking, fasting recipes, chutneys, chaats, raitas, and salads. It is a common ingedient in digestive-style spice mixes. The product is sourced from natural salt deposits, cleaned and prepared for food use. To use, you can crush, grind or dissolve depending on the recipe.
