Red Kidney Beans, also popular in Indian households as Rajmah, are a hearty pantry staple with a firm texture and rich, earthy flavour. These are extremely nutritious, fiber-rich legumes. They have a smooth texture and red-color, making them easy to spot. They have a mild flavour which allows them to absorb the flavour of the spices nicely. They can be made into curry as the favourite Rajmah-chawal. To soften and hasten the cooking process, soak them overnight in water before cooking.
