Our khada asafoetida or hing is bitter and aromatic. It is usually added to curries and rice dishes along with mustard seeds and curry leaves. Added for its unique fragrance to enhance the flavour and aroma, it also helps reduce flatulence. It makes the final curry or dish easier to digest. Its solid resin form is ground or tempered in hot oil before using just a pinch to dals, curries, and vegetable dishes, Originating from India, Whole Asafoetida comes to you without any modification in completely natural form from farm to plate.
May contain traces of milk, nuts (including peanuts), seeds (including sesame seeds & mustard seeds), cereals, celery, soya & gluten.
Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.

Pretty happy with this purchase. Flavour is good, though not quite as strong as I expected. No real complaints.
Solid quality for the price. Does the job in most of my recipes. Happy enough to order again.
This exceeded my expectations. Used it in a curry the same day it arrived and the difference was noticeable straight away. Five stars, no hesitation.
Genuinely impressed. Fresh, fragrant, and clearly good quality. Five stars, no hesitation.
This is exactly what a spice should taste like. Delivery was quick and the packaging kept everything fresh. Worth every penny.
Was a bit unsure but glad I ordered it. Good quantity for the price. Good value overall.
Good product overall. Packaging could be slightly better but the contents were fine. Good value overall.

Good product overall. Delivery took a couple of days longer than hoped, but the product itself is fine. Would recommend.
My go-to for this now. Used it in a curry the same day it arrived and the difference was noticeable straight away. Will definitely be ordering again.
I've reordered this three times now. Used it in a curry the same day it arrived and the difference was noticeable straight away. Will definitely be ordering again.

Can't fault this at all. The flavour is so much better than what I've had from the supermarket. Five stars, no hesitation.
