Our fresh and aromatic Cumin Powder is made by grinding dried seeds of Cuminum cyminum. Also called jeera, this is a spice, native to South Asia. The fragrant spice powder is a part of daily cooking and is extensively used in Indian and South East Asian kitchens. It is also used as a digestive, carminative and is a staple in many spice blends and functional foods. Its fine texture easily blends with curries or soups, imparting its strong flavour to the dish.
May contain traces of milk, nuts (including peanuts), seeds (including sesame seeds & mustard seeds), cereals, celery, soya & gluten.
