Pomegranate seeds are dried and then pounded to give you this tangy and slightly sweet powder. Widely used in Indian and Middle Eastern cooking, it can balance out the tastes of chutneys, curries, and marinades. It is usually added to salty and bitter dishes to neutralise their overpowering tastes. It adds a natural sourness similar to tamarind or lemon. This powder is also valued for its antioxidant properties.
Sealed product is handled on premises that processes milk, nuts (including peanuts), seeds (including sesame seeds & mustard seeds), cereals, celery, soya & gluten.
